To Do In The Area

The Philadelphia area offers a great range of options for you to enjoy during our wedding weekend. Between the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Liberty Bell at Independence Mall, Boat House Row along the Schuylkill River, Villanova University, shopping in Wayne, Bryn Mawr, and Manayunk...well, you get the idea. The R5 regional rail picks up near the Wayne Hotel and can take you to Villanova, surrounding suburbs, and all the way to Philadelphia. A word to the wise is to buy your tickets before boarding the train or ask the conductor how to have your surcharge put towards the return trip. I-76 (the Schuylkill expressway) is a convenient, although sometimes congested route to the city as well.

Both are cute areas that boast shopping, restaurants, and attractions, and should be in perfect autumn swing during early November.
